Ari Silver4th and 5th Grade Judaic Studies
A fourth generation Philadelphian, Rabbi Ari Silver, our fourth and fifth grade rebbe, was born in Bala Cynwyd, and was part of TA’s first 3Y class, before moving to Silver Spring when he was 11. Rabbi Silver attended The Yeshiva College of the Nation’s Capital for his bachelor’s, Montgomery College for a certificate in Computer Programming, George Washington University for a master’s in education, Kollel Zichron Amram, in Silver Spring, for Smicha, completed the Principal’s Training Institute through the Consortium of Jewish Day Schools, and completed the YU program of Differentiated Instruction. Before teaching at CTA, Rabbi Silver taught homeschool in Silver Spring, taught at Yeshiva of Greater Washington, Sulam, and Hebrew Day School of Montgomery County. Since Rabbi Silver has been teaching Limudei Kodesh at CTA for so long, he he has gotten the opportunity to teach alongside his own teachers and watched the building change over the years. Rabbi Silver and his family live in Bala Cynwyd and his children either graduated from CTA or are currently attending CTA. Rabbi Silver enjoys doing magic and woodworking. He can also play a couple of musical instruments.
